These balls of iron, produced at iron mongers, are used by pirates during sea battles. Bigger balls do more damage, but not all ships can use them. Sloops and cutters use small cannon balls, merchant brigs and war brigs use medium cannon balls and merchant galleons, war frigates and grand frigates use large cannon balls.
