Corsairs of Umbar were founded 19 October, 2004 and refounded 6 November, 2005. They flew the flag of Unity.
History[]
In its early days, the crew was run by Foilistc. When he became king of Unity, he passed the captain's hat to Grundie. Later, Foilistc and Epeeist left to form a new crew, the Corsairs of Midnight. The remaining crew, with Grundie as Captain, merged with Forbidden Dreams, in Seraph's Nightmare. As of at least 9 January, 2006, the crew name is being held by captain Aiendur, who is inactive.
Public Statement[]
In the Second Age, the island kingdom Numenor began establishing colonies on the coast. Destined to be the greatest of these was the fortress Umbar. She was built strongly and richly by Numenor and great was her pride, perhaps too great...
Umbar is currently being run as a Corsair state by the nefarious Aiendur. Those who care to join the Dread Corsair are free to approach the knave, but take caution that ye do not upset him. He'd as soon thrust his dagger in yer eye as look at ye.
