Deed

A deed is an item that represents ownership of either a building or a ship. Deeds can be transferred to other players using the trade window.

Deeds to goverment infrastructure buildings (fort / palace, bank, bazaar, commodities market, and estate agent) can vanish without warning. The same applies to the sole shoppe on an outpost island. This can happen when an island gets a new governor.

Ship deeds disappear when a ship sinks.
