Hold

The hold is the place where objects that cannot be stored in one's inventory are stored. Ships, stalls, shoppes, and the fort or palace have holds while banks, inns, commodities markets, and bazaars do not have holds.

Having a hold is a requirement for being able to paint the ship or building.
