NPP

A non player pirate, or NPP, is a game character recognized by a white name that is also two words. Common examples include brigands, the NPPs inside inns, and the NPP captain of the Pollywog tutorial ship.

You can hire NPP pirates to help you sail your ship . These NPPs are called swabbies.
