The Puzzle Edit

Shipwrightery is a sliding tile type puzzle on a 5x5 board. The goal of the puzzle is to execute long chains of patterns. Each piece moves in a diffrent way:

Wood Iron Rope Cloth Gold
Ship w Ship i Ship r Ship c Ship g
Up and down Left and right Diagonal No movement of its own Cannot be moved

Pieces are draged on the board and may swap spots with pieces in their own movement directions or if the other piece may move there. The following sequence is all done dragging the wood piece:

Starting
Ship w Ship r
Ship i Ship c
Draging the wood down
Ship i Ship r
Ship w Ship c

Ship r Ship c

Scoring Edit

  • Using gold as part of the pattern adds to the score of the chain
  • Having a less complex pattern follow the current pattern either reduces the score or does not help it.

Strategy Edit
