Where should /plank go? Should there be some redirect type things between /plank and plank? --Shagie 01:40, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Aye, plank should be included. I have added it, but I think there is probably a more elegant way to do it. Also, I remember there being a couple of commands available only to greenies, but I can't remember then off the top of my head. Does anyone know them? I think /greeter might have been one but I'm not sure. (sorry if this isn't the correct way to reply to discussion, im still a little new to all this wiki stuff) -Undertow 01:51, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

There are a couple of commands available to Greeters (/gwho, /greenie, and /duty). How should we deal with those? Plus, I'm sure that OMs have their own special commands, too. --Barrister 00:15, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Why not have a separate heading for greeter-only commands and OM-only commands? Then, you could just put those commands under their heading.--Zyborg 01:09, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Too many pages?

Do we really need a separate page for each command? Most of them are pretty easy to describe in 1 or 2 sentences. I think separate pages should be reserved for complex commands, if we need them at all. --Barrister 04:45, 3 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Then they are described in 1 or 2 sentences. The only ones that I can initaly see that would be so short would be the chat commands (but not shout). In the intrest of consistency, it would be best if all commands were fully expanded. --Shagie 04:54, 3 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Respectfully, I disagree. I think there are times when we should collect information in a central place, like the clothing, paint, and enamel pages. Sometimes, you need more, like with swords and mugs, but I don't think this is that time. --Barrister 07:32, 3 Jul 2005 (UTC)
In the case of paint/etc, it's a category that's consistant and predictable. (used for painting, made from herbs/whatever, etc) Slash commands are for chatting, character status, social interaction, planking, jobbing... Perhaps a compromise would be separating it all into pages based on the sections already here. (a page of chat commands, one of information commands, etc) Not only is that easier to administrate/deal with, but it would make sense that someone who needs to look up a command in a certain category might benefit from the nearby-ness of the related commands. Next time I have time, I'll work up at least one section into that form and see how it goes.--Tyroney 16:15, 4 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Suggestion: Let me write up the commands today on this page. We'll see how they look and can break them up from there. --Barrister 19:30, 4 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Hmm. Okay, let's break it up by category. Note that there's already a page for Communication. --Barrister 19:59, 4 Jul 2005 (UTC)
